- MEETING AREAS
We know that meeting space is an important aspect to guests using our facilities. Therefore, we have tried to make all of our meeting spaces comfortable and well equipped to meet the needs of our guests. Dixon Hall has two specific meeting rooms. The auditorium seats 200 guests and is equipped with a sound system, DVD/VCR, overhead projector and LCD projector. There is also a conference room that will seat 40 guests and is equipped with DVD/VCR, TV and white board. It is a perfect place for a small meeting or 'breakout' classroom/discussion area. (Meeting areas in other buildings may be used for meetings or seminars as available).
Mapleview Lodge will sleep 16 guests in 4 semi-private rooms. This unit is available year-round and has 2 bathrooms and showers. It also has a home style kitchen that is ideal for smaller groups. There is a post and beam great room that will seat up to 40 guests for an all inclusive conference facility. This meeting area includes a TV, VCR, and DVD player. A LCD projector may be available upon request.
We have 2 A-frame cottages, each equipped with electricity and heat for year-round usage, and a private bathroom and shower. Balsam will house up to 8 guests and also comes with a small kitchenette. Balsam is available to pastors and families, who are in full-time Christian ministry, for mid-week getaways on a donation basis. Spruce will house 12 guests and also has an open living room space that can be used for small group meetings.
There are 13 rustic cabins for those who would like a true "summer camp" experience. The rustic cabins have no heat or electricity, and sleep around 12 in each cabin. Showers and bathrooms are both located within close walking distance. The cabins provide a nice camping atmosphere for any age group. The cabins are available during the months of May through September.
PROGRAM CONSULTING There are many things to do here at Pine Brook. Enjoy Lake Wyola from a canoe, take a hike or bring a mountain bike and enjoy our many backwoods trails. We have a sports shed filled with balls, frisbees and marker cones for you to use to create your own games. Utilize the basketball courts or soccer field or play a round of volleyball or disc golf. Remember, if weather is not on your side many activities can still be fun even in the rain and there is always the game room.
Our qualified staff is here to help you plan your next retreat. Optional programming that is available includes the challenge course, group initiatives, and activities that are custom designed specifically for your group. We are here to serve you so that you will be free to interact with your group and watch God work. Some fees may apply for program planning and some activities such as challenge course and kayaking. These fees help to cover the cost of additional equipment or staff needed.
